Makita 742320-3 4-by-24-Inch 40-Grit Abrasive Sanding Belt, 10-Pack Review

I can say with 100% certainty that this is one of the best belt sandpapers out there. Like an idiot I decided to sand my entire deck (400 sq feet) with a 1' belt sander. It took weeks and I went through almost 50 sheets of sandpaper.

I tried craftsman, gator, and a few others and each one had a problem that when the sander got too hot (which takes 5 min) the sandpaper unglued and came right off. I then had to wait for about an hour for the sander to cool before putting more sandpaper on...otherwise it was still too hot and I'd be lucky to get 1 minute before the next piece unglued itself too.

Only this Makita withstood the heat that my sanding produced so I could get the most out of it before changing. NOT ONCE did any come unglued. The only downside is that this sandpaper is unidirectional, but since it lasts so long, that didn't matter to me. I would have bought more...except they lasted too long.
