Black and Decker has always been a budget line with fairly good quality. That not the case with this sander. It boasts a feature called "Auto Belt Tracking" which is supposed to eliminate belt adjustment. This feature does not work. Within the first 5 minutes of using this sander, the belt wandered off track cutting in to the plastic body of the sander. The inside 1/2 inch of the belt also tore itself to shreds.
Since there is no longer a belt tracking adjustment, there is no way to prevent a reoccurrence in the future so I returned it the next day.
